Italian Sausage Burgers Are an Easy Meal the Whole Family Will Love

You won’t think how uncomplicated this satisfying burger meal is and the few active ingredients you need to make it. The meat of the Italian sausage is gotten rid of from the casings to form delicious hamburger patties that are seared in a grill pan up until perfectly browned. Ingredients
Olive oil
0124DIN-Italian-Sausage-Burgers, Italian Sausage Burger with Fries
1 1/2 lb Italian sausage (hot, sweet, or mild).

1 small red onion.

1 cup apple cider vinegar, plus more if required.

Kosher salt.

6 oz provolone cheese (4 to 8 pieces).

4 hamburger buns, toasted if preferred.

Bibb lettuce, for serving (optional).

1/2 cup jarred roasted red peppers (2.6 oz.), ideally in liquid.

Directions.
Heat a grill or big grill pan (you can utilize a regular pan in a pinch) to medium-high with a light layer of oil. Form 4 to 6 patties from meat. You can make them as large or as little as you desire– just make them thinner than your typical beef patty (flat like a smashed burger, even!) They prepare through quickly.
Location patties on grill or grill pan. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, depending on how large your patties are.
